In the kingdom of Stormhold, Tristan (Charlie Cox) hopes to woo his beloved Victoria (Sienna Miller) by bringing her a falling star. He embarks on a journey to a mysterious and forbidden land, where he discovers the star isn't a chunk of space rock but a celestial beauty known as Yvaine (Claire Danes).
